Sponge Bombs
One of my favorite, super simple summertime activities is making these sponge bombs. They are nothing new, but they are still so much fun and my kids love them.
Ingredients:
colorful sponges (8 per bomb)
scissors
string or fishing line
Instructions:
Start with clean, unused sponges (I love to order these colorful packs on Amazon). Cut them into strips lengthwise.
Take 8 and lay them in a crisscross pattern holding them in one hand.
Wrap them twice in the center with string or fishing line, pull to tighten and tie off.
Trim any excess string or fishing line. Soak in water and let the kids throw them and have fun!
