4th of July Windsock the Crafty Mommy

Show your spirit this 4th of July with this easy and fun windsock you can make with your kids.

Ingredients:

  • blue paper

  • red paper

  • white paper

  • red ribbon

  • white ribbon

  • hot glue

  • star template

  • scissors (I use my Cricut machine for the stars)

  • hole puncher

  • string for hanging

Instructions:

  1. Start by taking the blue paper and rolling it into a tube, secure with hot glue.

  2. Using the white paper, cut out your stars, adhere to the blue tube with glue.

  3. Take the red paper and cut it into two strips and adhere one to the top of the blue tube and the other to the bottom.

  4. Cut long strips of red and white ribbon (mine were about 18” in length each. Adhere these in an alternating pattern to the inside bottom of the blue tube.

  5. Punch two to three small holes at the top of the blue tube and thread string through it to hang.
