Cupcake Liner Flower Wreath

Cupcake Liner Wreath The Crafty Mommy

I have been super into spring this year, even more than in years past. I think it’s because we have been cooped up so much, especially because of COVID and the weather is finally nice and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

You know I love a good wreath, and this year I decided to make a spring-theme one with the kids. You can easily mix and match whatever cupcake liners you have in your pantry or buy colored ones like I did.

Ingredients:

  • cardboard wreath form

  • green paint

  • paint brush

  • cupcake liners in two sizes

  • pom poms

  • hot glue or glue dots

  • green paper

  • scissors

  • ribbon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Start by painting your cardboard wreath form green. Let dry.

  2. While your wreath is drying, take your cupcake liners and if there is a white side and a colored side, invert them carefully so the colored side is facing upwards. Do this with all those that you plan to use.

  3. Take the small cupcake liners and layer them inside the large cupcake liners. Using a glue dot or a dab of hot glue attach them to one another.

  4. Add a pom pom to the center, again securing with a glue dot or a dab of hot glue creating flowers.

  5. Attach the cupcake liner flowers to the wreath form that you painted in step 1. Fill the entire wreath form.

  6. Take your green paper and cut out leaves. Once you have cut out the leaves, fold them in half to give it definition.

  7. Secure the leaves to the wreath form with glue dots or a dab of hot glue.

  8. Hang as is, or attach a looped ribbon to the back with a glue dot or dab of hot glue to hang.
