Spin Art Easter Eggs

I absolutely love spin art - and so do my kiddos! We recently took some paper eggs that I cut out and added them to our simple IKEA salad spinner with some colorful paints and magic happened.

It was a fun-filled morning with lots of laughter, experimenting, and art! We ended up punching holes in the tops and threading ribbon to them to hang them around the house.

Ingredients:

  • cardstock

  • scissors

  • paint in different colors

  • salad spinner

  • hole puncher (optional)

  • ribbon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cut out egg shapes from your cardstock.

  2. Place one egg at a time into the salad spinner. Add drops of paint in different colors.

  3. Place the lid on the salad spinner and spin as fast as you can!

  4. Let dry. Optional: If you want to add a ribbon to hang them, punch a hole in the top of the eggs with a hole punch and thread the ribbon through and tie to hang.
