Washi Tape Picture Frame
With only a few days until Mother’s Day, we are starting to gear up. My mom’s, the kids GMa’s, favorite gifts are those that are handmade.
First up, the kids and I put together a picture frame using Washi tape.
All you have to do is wrap a plain frame in your favorite Washi tape and add a picture or drawing and you’ve got yourself a sentimental and handmade gift perfect for mom or grandma.
Ingredients:

Washi tape, I used three different types
screwdriver
Instructions:
Start by taking the glass out of the picture frame and unscrewing the back stoppers so you have an absolutely plain, bare frame.
Take the Washi tape and wrap it around the front of the frame layer the pieces as you go. Note: I left the corners undone while wrapping the rest of the frame, we will come back to those in the next step.
Once you’ve wrapped everything except the corners, go back and layer the pieces until the corner is mostly covered, then take a longer piece and lay it across the corner overlapping it on both sides.
Cut a slit in each side of the tape before you wrap it and press the slits down around the corners to finish.
