End of Year Gifts
I put together some “graduation” or “kick off summer” gifts for my kids to give to them on the last day of school, which is this week - I can’t decide whether this has been the longest school year ever or the fastest!
This is a way to kick off summer with some fun, new educational and exciting things, but also wish them a big congratulations for making it through another year successfully (especially this year).
Below, check out what I gifted my kids for inspiration for your own.
First up, books for their summer reading challenge that we usually take part in at our local library. For my oldest, I’m always looking for new series to get him interested in. This season I chose The Last Kids on Earth. Fingers crossed he likes it as much as I think he will.
I also included a learning toy for my youngest. I added this awesome Shifu Plugo Letters because she is working on sight words as she enters kindergarten.
My son, who is older, learned about a local artist named Five Fingaz at school recently and he has the best message: Love More Than Ever. So I purchased him a sweatshirt with this logo on it.
I also got my son Guy Stuff, which is a book about all kinds of self care. We’re getting to that age, so I want to be prepared.
And finally, something just for fun. Raya is a huge deal in our house so this doll I’m sure will become a fast favorite.
