Cardboard Cuff Bracelet

DIY
Cardboard Tube Cuff Bracelets The Crafty Mommy

One of our favorite things to make and give is bracelets of all kinds. I love these cuff bracelets because they are made from simple household items and easy for the kids to make, yet sophisticated enough to give as a gift.

Ingredients:

  • toilet paper or paper towel tubes

  • paper in different patterns (I like to use light weight paper for this)

  • scissors

  • hole punch

  • embroidery thread

  • hot glue or glue dots

Instructions:

  1. Using scissors, cut the cardboard tube into smaller pieces, some can be skinny, some can be wider. You decide! Then cut one slit in each piece to make a cuff.

  2. Take the paper you would like to use and cut two pieces of it to match the size of the pieces you cut in step 1.

  3. Adhere these pieces of paper to the front and back of the pieces from step 1 with hot glue or glue dots.

  4. Using a hole punch, punch one hole on each end of the bracelet.

  5. String embroidery thread, yarn, or string half way through on each side. Tie together to secure the bracelet.
