Bunny Garland
We have an old Colonial home with a great, long fireplace mantel so if there is a holiday, there is always a garland hanging from it, most of the time made by the kids and I.
I love this one because it is so simple and so cute. I love it even more this year because I was able to make and match some other decor to go with it.
Ingredients:
floral or springtime paper
skinny satin ribbon
hot glue or glue dots
cotton balls or small white pom poms
Instructions:
Trace the bunny template onto your floral or springtime paper and cut out. If you have a Cricut, now is the time to use that to make a lot of bunnies quickly.
Take your cotton balls and slightly pull them apart and attach them to the bunnies you cut out in step 1 with hot glue or a glue dot.
Take the finished bunnies and attach them to the skinny, satin string to make a garland.
Tips for Garlands: Always measure where your garland is going and how much ribbon and bunnies in this case that you will need.
I like to hang garland horizontally and vertically depending on the space. But make sure to plan ahead for either.
Make sure you leave more ribbon on the ends so you can hang the garland appropriately without wasting bunnies and your precious time.
