Celebrating Halloween

I LOVE Halloween! It is by far my favorite holiday. And H is quickly following in my love of this holiday and the fall season. H loved his costume. He dressed up as a red fox. It was adorable and warm, plus it will probably be one of the last times I get to choose what he wears.

To celebrate, we took time this Saturday to go to Central Park for their annual Halloween bash. It’s free and includes face painting, pumpkin decorating, “a pumpkin patch,” and more. The police even got involved, we saw this awesome and creepy headless horseman trotting through the park.

Then this afternoon we kept the festivities going by dressing up and heading to Music for Aardvarks at FAO Schwarz. This is a music group we go to weekly at Lincoln Center, but today they had a special get together at the famous toy store which was so much fun. We decorated cookies and sang and danced. Plus, H and I were able to show off our Fox and Hound costume.
